My Gluttony

Don't make me walk alone
In my time of need
I'm down on my luck
And down on my knees

I've drank my way here
And the whole world can see
I'm becoming the man
I hoped not to be

I'm looking up at rock bottom
That's no place to be
I hate to bare you the news
But you're not far from me

I've got to get out
This life's killing me
The ground is my sky
Oh Lord help me please

I tried on my own
To fight this disease
But until those I love grieve
I'll never be free

So sit at my tombstone
Under the tree
Forgive me my actions
And my gluttony

If you read this I please ask that you go take a look at the "new" poem by Adam Moldovan? Coincidence???? Watch yourselves or your work/ideas may get stolen as well.
