My Gift To You

You’re a precious gift of gorgeous gem God has given me,
the celestial glimmer of divine treasure in you I always see.
I express heartfelt humble gratitude to Him in return,
while I give you the exquisite gift I cherish, for it’s my turn.
I make my adoring heart as alluring as a springtime rose,
lay on your entrancing eyes as a dream when they close.
I make my enticing smile as sparkling as opalescent dew,
adorn your mind’s meadow each morn with sunburst hue.
My ardent love for you is as vibrant as my poem’s rhyme,
on its melodic wave I’ll keep you afloat till the end of my time.
