My Garden

My Garden is...
As fast as a bean shoot growing tall,
As slow as a snail on the shady wall,

As quiet as the spider’s creepy crawl,
As loud as the kookaburra’s wake-up call,

As bright as a sunflower’s yellow face,
As cool as the pond in the mossy place,
As tame as the blue-tongue under the pot,
And wild as the weeds that grow - a lot.
