My Garden

My garden is rustic wild
  far from any formal style
as Mother Nature shows
  anything grows.
Too many weeds but they flower too
  watering watering those summer blues
Pretty vines tall and green
but never a tomato to be seen
Flower power they are a mess
just toss some seeds and hope for the best
Birdbaths for birdies to bathe and drink
change the water daily so they don't stink
But early in the morning when watering is through
sitting in the shade to enjoy my garden's view
Colorful flowers and leafy plants
green and playful at any glance
My garden may not win any awards
but each spring keeps me looking towards.
