My Future Self

I hope to god your smiling
I hope life's all you thought
I hope you have listened carefully
learned all that you was taught

I hope you live in happiness
I hope that you're still fighting on
I hope you still say sorry 
when you know that you were wrong

I hope you gained some confidence
I hope your feeling listened to
I hope your living your best life
wind in your hair and a beautiful sea view

I hope you fell in eternal love
I hope you found authenticity 
I hope your looking after you
both mentally and physically

Life may get difficult
Love can be complicated 
Health may deteriorate
Your name may get slated

Life has its ups
equally its downs
sometimes the room 
feels like its spinning around

But to my future self
let it be known
I cant wait to meet you 
when WE are grown..
