My Future Mirror

Four sharp edges hold one dream
My reflection to see it would seem

Look closer, squinting my eyes
Familiar image, I quickly realize

An outline of all I've always wanted
Ones ideal hope- comfortly haunted

Time is slow- locked in a stare
Passioned moment, years of dispair

I've thought this feeling compared to death row
How my future was out of sight, so slow

Is this really what I see?
Is this my better half of me?

Savoring this longed aspiration
Efforts of controlling my emotion

Explaining your my dreamed future
How you were my only procure

And your hands hold my fragile mirror
And my love for you is much more clearer
