My Friend Sharon

My friend Sharon is the same as me as
we have decided to let it all hang free.
No more corsets or underwire
because we feel we are still on fire.
Without recourse to peer pressure
or need to take out a tape measure.
We’ve done our bit for procreation.
Now it’s all procrastination where
slimming and exercise are concerned.
A leisurely stroll is best we’ve learned.
We’re comfortable in our slack skin.
So Sharon is my “win/win” twin.

Morning Jan. Isn’t the weather fantastic? Retirement is wonderful for sunny days out. Thank you for dropping in on my dropping out poem.

I wish I could let myself go, too and occasionally I do —as far as drinking cocktails and dessert, aren’t they the same thing ha ha. At least I walk - my dog won’t let me get out of it. SuZ

Hi Daniel. I am trying to kickstart my muse but she is just hiccuping up stuff occasionally. My three beauties are all good and I am a granny now. Cora and Rena are thinking of leaving Vancouver for Australia by September so the rest of us are joining them for two weeks in August, this time doing Montreal and Quebec. I’m retired two years now and stress free. I also hope life is also good with you and yours.
