My Friend Indy
To Indiana
If you was me
And I was you
What would we really do
So once upon a time, I thought I would write a rhyme
But then I thought I had run out of time
Because slowly, slowly time departs
But I just never seemed to start
I looked, I listened and thought I smelt the hay
Only to lose my way
Your family after all were not mine
They were neither Clancy, Keady or a Klyne
I did though see gravestones in a churchyard called Barna
And wondered is that maybe my Grand-Father
Time is short and running out, so I started to shout
I also nearly gave up, but never again now or ever
As you are my trusted mentor
Without you my friend I wouldn’t have made it
But I was never really sure until you knocked on my door
You have helped me ever so much, and I thank you and wish you all the luck
Best wishes and my friendship forever
All my love to you Indiana
