Okay lets get something straight I know all this my be being said way to late But you need to know That it’s you as a person I appreciate Even though I think Of us getting back together again Every single moment of every single day And these thoughts never go away or astray There are some things I still need to say That is there may be prayers, hopes, wishes, and dreams on my part Because you will always have the key to my heart But I do separate reality from fantasy And being with you again is not something from you I expect This fact I’ve learned a long time ago to accept Yet it’s true I’m having problems moving on But those are my problems for which I have to learn to be strong I’m saying all this Because you are not calling Here I am in a downward spiral falling I miss you true But most of all I miss you’re friendship We had so much more than love We had it all with a fit closer than a glove We don’t have to give up it all just to try and find Answers to questions we search to solve I long to be a better person for me Although family and friends push me to be It’s a door I find so hard to open I lose the key And there you are and it’s you that can make me see How to go about opening it, hold on to the key and show me how to be free Can’t you please give us another chance? And no not for the sake of romance Lets have our hearts together mend And face the pain we have still are holding on to Lets be there for each other with a shoulder to cry on and have an ear to lend Maybe after a while we will be able to move, to bend again And we will both be able to find the answers for which we seek To bad we can’t look into our futures and just have a peek Guess we’ll have to wait and see Just what’s really meant to be How I feel about you absolutly nothing is pretend This time lets not have it end All my love to you I’ll forever send I need you here as my friend
