My Friday Night
How come this wasn't any fun
It feels like my day was wasted
Like everything i put forth has been
Ruined or washed away
How come this wasn't any fun
I was at my own homecoming game
And i wanted to run
I was hanging with my friends
But i felt so out of the box
I was trying to stay as long as possible
And not let what was happening
Before me affect me
How come this wasn't any fun
I was so excited that whole day
Until i arrived there i guess
I let the little things effect me
Friends who I've given so much credit to
Who i thought had my back
Just ended up like a piece of paper
Tacked on a back left to hang
Just bleeding like the rain
A Friday like this will forever
Be burned in my memory
