My forest home
As I take a gradual stroll
Here, my blue dreams unfold
Allured by the winter cold
Barks hug my maroon soul
Hidden by branches long limb lines
My spirit soars like a fine red wine
Watching squirrels gleefully shine
I find this forest home a jovial shrine
The leaves cascade a rainbow foil
Gliding palpable truths upon the soil
I leave behind ebony-tainted turmoil
The sacred seeds are saved from spilling toxic oil
Breathing in the sky cobalt peace
My anxiety is granted a release
I don't have to be part of a social jigsaw and fit perfectly each piece
I'm floating with the clouds as my iris's storms decrease.
