My Flower (Til the Last Beat of My Heart)

In the Garden of Life
by moonlight I walked
Over the paths I tread
amongst the flowers
and my thoughts
Around the path’s bend
in a bed by itself
I found my flower
To the world passing by
merely a flower
it just may have seemed
but this flower instantly
meant the world to me
Moonlit and glistening
a flower of white
It will always be mine
It will always be mine
I hold it close to my chest
I will hold on to you
til the end
til the last beat of my heart
inside of my breast
