My Final Twenty Four Hours
This final day on earth
so many thoughts fill the mind
firstly I must thank my God
for His faithfulness so kind
Then ponder on my future state
God's assured in heaven for me
this old earth will one day perish
so grateful I've received salvation's key
But they are friends left here
whom I will have to wave goodbye
hope to see them one day soon
in God's glory when they die
Would think on joys I've had
of music and walks of nature
be glad to be rid of stammer
soon I'll have the fluent cure
So look ahead to final moments
as my earth lights go out
to awake in my eternal glory
this I believe without a doubt
