My Final Plea

Out of all the billions pleading Lord
Who am I to even consider my prayer worthy to reach your throne
I am sure there are many more deserving an answer
Out of all those you call your own

But here I am broken on bended knee
My hope within has imploded with no where else to turn
In years of tears I cry out to the empty skys beyond
And pour out all my deepest concerns

I cling to my last strand of sanity
You are the only savior ive ever counted on to save my tattered soul
Im so sorry for the times ive let you down
And you continued to heal my heart and make me whole

So I cast my plea with the billion prayers
Putting my last hope in trusting my prayer you'll hear
Please revive my wounded spirit within
And help me to forever draw near.
