My Fears

Maybe I could ignite
And you could radiate
Then start burning with pride
And kill me inside

Maybe I could call you an angel
And you would grow wings of an eagle
And hover over me
Until you find a heart more godly
And then hurt me

Maybe I could whisper in your ear
My deepest secrets and what I fear
And you would scream
About them to the world
Or judge every word
