My Favorite View
I used to like sitting near the window
Where a moment to time I can borrow
And picture what I can see in my mind
Image of a person I pray to find.
Until you came my exquisite delight
Where you are become my favorite sight
You are more than I expect to receive
More than a full moon on a quiet eve.
With you it does not matter where I sit
As long as my hand with yours I can fit
I'm by the window but I stare at you
You're more natural than the outside view.
More beautiful than the sunset I love
The answered prayer I'm blessed to have.
