Notes About The Poem

My Favorite Time of Day

There is a moment, however fleeting, when the shadows of the night share their place among the heavens with the dawning of the light.

That moment when the sounds of evening…begin to fade away
begin to cede their voices to the the music of the day.

That moment when the darkness lifts…and you find yourself entranced…
as the clouds…the birds…the trees…the flowers…begin to sing and dance.

As I stand in awe and marvel at nature’s ethereal ballet…
is it any wonder that this moment…is my favorite time of day.
