My Favorite Journey
We’re going on the Oasis
Worlds largest cruise ship!
I am getting too excited
So I better get a grip!
This will be cruise number nine
They’ve all been loads of fun
We’ve toured Mexico and the Caribbean
But this should be THE one.
The ship is so gigantic
And offers fun things to do
Like surfing, ice skating, rock climbing
Just to name a few.
This trip will be fantastic
I know from whence I speak
But the ship is so doggone big
Don’t think we can see it all in just a week.
We’ll be making stops in Haiti
Jamaica and Cozumel, Mexico
They have beautiful sites to see
And lovely places to go.
You can rent a catamaran for the day
Or swim with the dolphins at one of the stops
Ride horses along the beach
Buy gifts and souvenirs at the various shops.
Entertainment on board is abundant
There are shows, a casino and games
Name That Tune, karaoke and others
I can’t remember all of the names.
The food on the cruise is fantastic
Although you stand to gain weight
Let yourself go and enjoy it
You'll find that it really is great.
A cruise is very exciting
I mean from beginning to end
In fact I can't wait till the following year
I can do it all over again! (to enter The Journey Contest)
