Notes About The Poem

Image result for pictures of a classroom with a diorama in itHer diorama was of the surroundings area which was rural, farming and small town. She was a nice lady and died a long drawn out death from breast cancer years and years ago when there wasn't very much to treat it with as there is today.

My Favorite Elementary School Teacher

As the yellow-orange sun slowly rises Memories of your class's fun flood my heart Thoughts run to your teaching and enterprises You brought those tiny guppies to our class A creative shiny diorama's great art Sunshiny person and dedicated lass You lifted us up when you said All the gifted books available we'd outsmart Sad you to your death drifted from your sickbed

Aw to bad about your teacher. That's a nice tribute to her. She sounds like a nice teacher. Thank goodness for teachers like her. I remember diorama's now that you mention it, and many other things fondly.

Yes, David, she was a good teacher, but she could also get upset with students that did not do what they should do. Your review and kind comments are uplifting. Sara K

Happy memories Sara, thank God medicine has improved now or others would pass away without treatment. Enjoy your weekend, just back from Spain. Tom

Tom, Yes, some things about modern life help life to be better and there are things about modern life that make it worse for wear. Thanks for your visit and kind review of my work. Sara K
