My Father's Love

Feeling pain,
wanting to cry,
but will he listen to me,
he did not listen to me.
Growing up was tough,
because I never had my father's love.
From stranger to stranger,
too many times I " found the one I have been searching for",
well that is what I thought, I was confused, because I never had my father's love.
Who will treat me right,
who will give me respect?
when you have not been loved by your father,
then how can you not settle for less,
let men treat me any kind of way,
I never had my father's love,
so what else is there for me to explaine?
Feeling pain,
want to cry, but he did not listen,
did not hear me,
growing up was pretty tough,
In the arms of a stranger,
all because I did not have my father's love.
