My Fathers Eyes

Forgive me for I can not be as strong as you claim to see

Alone is the only word to use to describe what I feel each day

The way I begged to see you each day to protect my back yet never heard

How I wished I could could been there by your side each day

Even though I never received it much from you forever I see you in the mirror

Rejoicing what literally was very little time we shared

For you had done the same for me and just as I we were both too scarred

Over time the world forgets every living being but I shall never forget you

Remembering a moment without you hurts to think but I see you in the mirror above the sink

Everyday I see you in the reflecting and I do cry so hard for I see life without you by my side

Varying moments I had from happy or sad missing the world we once had

Every since I could remember I wanted acceptance for I wished to had done the same

Remember me in your darkest days look in the mirrors see my eyes see you're here so praise
