My Father My Friend...Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to a man who is my everlasting friend Thankyou is such a simple word It can't show the emotion or depth of what my reasons are when I say it Let me explain why no other card can express the meaning of my father A man who has always been there for my mother and siblings Giving us your utmost dedication and always putting us before you When I look at you I see a man who was just a man Until you came in our lives You became a man who has taken us under your wing and had understanding..patience and more than enough love I was to young to remember the first day you came into my life But I remember the bond that grew as we built it over the years Through happy..sad and trialsome times But one thing I admired about you was you took me as I was and loved me no matter the circumstances I remember the day I felt so proud of you and how our relatonship had grown so much I realized that this man took upon himself to be my father That was when I asked you to adopt me You taught me alot about family values even though in my life I've tried and did'nt succeed yet But I still know what they mean and one day I will have all these things Because my father taught me not to give up and to be strong no matter what You have passed on your wisdom over the years At times I would'nt understand then what it is I understand now If you did'nt guide me and help shape me I would'nt be the complete woman I am today Honestly I appreciate and can't express how thankful I am to have you in my life A man is just a man from the outside Your eyes are the windows to the world Your feet have travelled your journeys But your heart is pure and the love between a father and daughter flows Like the streams that intertwine with the lakes which is everlasting Thankyou and have a wonderful day
