My Fairy Friends

My Fairy friends
are digging out from another storm,
they are really wishing
the sun would come out nice and warm.

Their shovels went away a week ago
nasty weather came back quick,
because of the temperature changes
some of them got really sick.

I'm doing my very best
to nurse them back to health,
by giving them chicken soup
their hearts are filled with wealth.

I look after my Fairy friends
the same way they look after me,
when we all feel better
we are filled with great glee.

I help them dig themselves out
it's supposed to dip down again tonight,
I'll invite them all in for cookies
and have a chat by candle light.

It snowed out on Monday, so I'm trying to help my little friends out the best way I know how.
