My Face Is a Happy Place
Eyebrows thin, half-moon curves on top
Beaming hope, 'Good Ship Lollipops'
Over bright, cheery eyes, Nature's 'eaves-drops'
~ My face is a happy place
Mouth forming a crescent smile
Its pleasing shape quite versatile
Corners creased from frequent laughter
Lips parted, aglow, forever after
Cheeks rosy, abloom with joy
Just as they were when I was a boy
Of sadness or gloom, nary a trace
~ My face is a happy place
