My Face

Quite white really not brown as first stated, 
olive skin, dark eyes only what i've created

Apply the bronzer, smudged charcoal lines, complete with mascara my personality 
defined

Nothing too bad beneath, but what peoples expectations command,
a prisoner, a slave to my artistic hand

Welcome to PoetrySoup. I'm new here too. Nice poem. I totally agree with what you're saying here and I can really relate to this. This reminds me of the Dove evolution commercial for some reason...
