My Facade

I try to feel, i really do..
but absence of emotion, is brought on by you

I cant seem to smile, i cant seem to cry, i cant seem
to laugh, i cant seem to die...

I want to be me, but im just too afraid...
so i hide my emotions, each and every day.

All i want to do is love, but that seems like an
Unreachbale goal...
this stone face is taking its toll

It begins to grow weak, it begins to crack
This facade im maintaining, is fading to black

Black as night, losing myself in this shade,
I need the sun to find my old ways

When i could love and smile, and just be me, i hope
I can get back to the me in history.
