My Eternal Shield
I know not why the universe is so vast,
nor even why the die is not fully cast.
It seems nothing is motionless or lies still,
especially beyond earth's protected shield,
which is God's protection for all of us,
without which we'd all turn into a ball of dust.
So much burning, crashing, falling, and moving.
So big and wide; room enough for infinite traveling.
All the orbiters and revolvers are blessed with ample space.
O Maker of time and space, someday I shall behold your face.
In Christ alone, in the flesh, our eternal God has been revealed,
And the Holy Bible is the Book of Truth where we discover His will.
