My Eternal Gift In Friendship
You are queen of everything I have to give
And what you know, or even want to do:
A gift that can define the way you live
Creates this special birthday wish for you.
The miles we are apart, cannot be length,
Nor breadth, for how I send this gift depends
On how the journey goes, I have this strength,
To know that we’ll forever, be good friends.
As gifts, we can but ill afford expense,
But growing is with knowledge that you care,
Something you’ve returned with commonsense
Is sending you this token, none compare.
My secret is no secret anymore,
It tells the world how modesty has shone
Whose hearts of gold, like mine, who just adore
The way you've lit our lives, you are the sun.
Gifts like this are precious, you shall find,
That anything than this, shall not last long
Your sunbeams bring an instant peace of mind
That solar powers strength, we should be strong.
And with this friendship, help with mighty hand,
My lifespan is as much, the sacrifice,
By giving you this much is Gods command
A closeness that cannot define such price.
