My Emptiness Whole

Late into the night,
  the characters become real

And the words that I’ve written
  cement and congeal

Late into the night,
  they take over my soul

My reality transformed,
—my emptiness whole

I really do like your poem, Kurt; reminds me very much of poetry in the style of Philip Larkin with those dissatisfied undertones. My best regards! :) john
