My Elijah's Daddy
It all started with two red lines in a rectangular kit
That for nine months makes my life goes on with two heartbeats
But I am just so blessed and feel so overwhelmed
For having the person who just knew how to take away all my worries
Inspite of You being unprepared for that big responsibility.
It’s been almost a year since the day that you became a daddy
I will never get tired of replaying that moment in my mind
For it makes my life worth living no matter what life brings
And by just simply thinking that you are the father of my child
My heart just can’t stop from giggling inside.
I've realized I have underestimated your capabilities
Knowing you before as an easy go lucky
But I will always keep on believing in you, and yes I will always do
For I've known you deeply, and I have you simply because
God loves me.
