My Dreams
I can not hide who I am inside.
My heart is an open book for all to read.
My soul is a whisper in the breeze.
When I am down and need a way out
I grab my pen and let it out.
writing gets me through life.
I don't do it for fame and fortune.
I write for myself
and those who'll listen.
If I had a choice to do it again
I'd reach for my pen.
My words come easily you see.
A poet I am and will always be.
living my dreams I always dreamed.
