My Dream Catcher
My Dream Catcher
By: Tom Wright
10/3/00
Don't idly lay supine upon your bed,
counting glitter,
that sparkles as the star.
Count God's blessings in your life instead,
praising Him,
for being where you are.
Then should you dream from sleep,
a dream,
you wish to share as true.
As with your soul, pray God will keep,
this dream,
alive and safe for you.
Labor not on dreams doomed not to last,
but dwell,
on dreams worthy of your day.
For all too soon in life our die is cast,
it's then,
that we're rewarded for our way.
