My Dog Blue

Blue entered my life four years ago
An eight week old puppy, fast he did grow
Small bundle of fluff, blue eyes so bright
The feeling I felt was love at first sight.

I believe he chose me rather than I did he
First time we met running clumsy to me
Sniffing, rapid licking then tinkled a wee
Instantly marked, life friends we would be.

That night he was restless missing his kin
Barking and crying, whine whimpering
So I laid down next to his new puppy bed
He snuggled up close nestling his head.

Next morning awoke to licking wet kisses
And puddles on paper where he did his business
His tail madly wagging, happy, excited
Instant bond growing, our love was ignited.

Tales and adventures followed, years fast flew
One day will share who choose to read through
More to yet happen, explore and to chart
But for now I will keep them close to my heart.

Love how that works. Just a thought, maybe an update write and photo, part 2??? I love their angel kisses bet you do also. Have a great/blessed weekend..........
