My Dog and Me

Animals all feel each others energy,
and this has come in very handy for me.
My dog may be licking your hand very lovingly,
but her tail is not wagging at all, it's as still as can be.
This is how she reacts for me,
when she feels the energy of a deceptive quality.
Rolling on her back in front of you playfully,
with ears pulled back as far as can be,
is how she responds when she feels aggressive energy,
and offering her paw to somebody,
is her way of informing me,
that the person is confused or depressed possibly.
I trained her to identify emotions specifically,
and to respond in a specific manner for me.
You could be the greatest actor or con artist that could ever be,
fooling so many people, maybe even me,
but never whenever she is in our company.
She will feel your energy and relate it back to me,
and I in turn will respond to you accordingly.

My dog has now long been deceased.
I post this in honor of her memory.

It's sad to hear she's gone... I lost both a cat an dog to old age this year. My condolences.

This is a beautiful poem! Animals and children seem to to just know who has a kind heart and gentle soul!

All animals (except us) are true empaths Arthur, perhaps human children as well.
