My Discusion With Strength

Me:

Why does my strength so lie in waiting?
If it is for use, then why not today?
The sense of it is somewhat abating,
I need my strength and now, I pray.

Alive I am, awake with eyes open
But yet at times I know I’m asleep
Wake up, oh strength, I’m needing foundation
My mind’s at risk and I’d like to keep

Strength:

Suppress thee not, oh let the strength rise
Stand so strong, prepare for your course
Let it flow, to be seen in your eyes
And let it seep from all of your pores

For then, you’ll be, the master of your future
You’ll hold the power, decide then your fate
Your strength’s within, of which it is nurtured
The time is now, there’s no time to wait
