Hi SKAT< I apologize for misspelling it on my first reply. Your greet was warm indeed and I appreciate you introducing yourself! :) I first fell in love with poetry and writing in grade school. I used to write daily the I guess you can say I hit a huge wall of writer's block. The is how I found poetrysoup and it is by far the best writing community I have been a part of! Isabelle, Welcome to Poetry soup, I hope you enjoy the community. Here, you will find friendly poets who enjoy supporting one another. Linda, Thank you tremendously for your very warm welcome! I am so happy to be here sharing my work and reading that of others! I love poetry but it has been awhile since I've written. The first three poems I posted are years old, but very dear to my heart. "Soul" is one I scoundered up last night. To hear so many be supporter of my poetry has brought the best very inside! I am so excited to read your work and grow with the many great poets I've already encountered here! I usually use a lot of rhyme in my poetry, my favorite poet is Langston Hughes and I want to write a book some day! lol If that explains a little on my desire to write! I'm going to head over and read your work, thanks again for your encouragement and inviting words! -Isabelle
