My dear Selene

Woe unto thee, O vain lover,
Woe unto him whose sheets thou dost lie under
Go on, boast of thy wealthy new lover,
Yet turn to me and rediscover all our wonder.
Prize not coin, my dear Selene,
But the true love from God in whose grace we live under.

Aah Ryan ~ I feel your loss so succinctly & poetically expressed. I love how you put her name in the title & how you’ve ended the poem. ThkU for sharing. I enjoyed this read today. Well done in the Contest. Sending blessings to you in Zim. Keep writing. Ghairo.
