My Daughter My Ruby

The yearnings of siblings
The desire of a father and
The prayer of a mother,
My daughter my Ruby
So desired, so cherished

Beauty at first sight,
Such charm, much charisma
Princesa in glowing bloom
Our Princess in waiting.
My daughter my Ruby

Audacity and brains in a mix
More precious than gold
Treasured more than diamonds
But as rare as a Ruby
My daughter my Ruby

Gold you can mine
Diamonds you can find
A treasure like you is from above
Destiny awaits your imprint
History's annals await your input
My precious gem; My Ruby
