My Daughter and My Son

My Daughter and My Son
You're my life, my love's.
The ones sent from up above.
You make me laugh.
You make me cry.
You make me worry.
And wonder why.
It's quite a miracle you both are here.
I want to hold you.
To keep you near.
You are in my heart.
So precious, so dear.
You are my daughter.
You are my son.
You are my life.
You are my number one.
I give you my heart and all my love.
I pray that is enough.
Iv'e taught you right from wrong.
You know good from bad.
Please use the minds that you have.
Think long and hard about things you don't understand.
Some things look good, but are the baddest of bad.
Love with your hearts, but don't let them get broke.
Life's not a game, nor is it a joke.
I know you have to live and learn in your own ways.
But for now, I am here this very day.
I will try to protect you, in every single way.
Take care of your brother and listen to your sis.
You both need each other.
One day you will see this.
Always remember keep your heads held high.
Follow your hearts, you will always get by.
If you ever need help, don't be afraid to ask.
Ask the right person, you'll learn from the past.
Stay close to each other for as long as you can.
Live, Love, Laugh, in all that you are, and all that you do.
And remember forever that..... I Love You!
