The day she arrived what a proud mqn i was Felling as high as the heavens yes i was My beautiful little daughter all ten fingers and toes Right down to her cute little button nose Yes i think back to that glorious day Thanking god for her on her birth day She grew up fast before you knew it she was twelve The happy times i enjoyed watching her grow Now its time for me to go we both know why Heartache and sorrow we both cried Years passed both of us not knowing Lives we were living paths we had taken Then after years of emptiness in my heart My daughter found me and rekindled my life In a letter she wrote i must have closure Lets talk things out and think it over Getting to know one another again Is the happiest of times ill say it again Never again will i lose you my precious daughter Daddys come home amen
