My Dance With Death

All I wanted was a taste of death. The brush of his lips, the cold caress. Just one dance, one song to see, If my feet could move to the rhythm of his beat. So I enticed, and he followed me. Bringing his darkness into the light that I bleed, Surrounding and all encompassing. "What a lovely gift to bring" he said to me" you have no fear, your light cannot be extinguished. " Then he let me go, and I was free, To move through space, time, and dimensions, Back to my reality, changed for eternity.
