My Daily Prayer

Help me to be an inspiration ---
someone who cares with their whole heart.
A person who loves people
and helps them get their start.

A person with a spirit of giving
and also knowing how to receive.
Someone who knows the right things to say
and gives someone the hope to believe.

Fill me with Your spirit of joy
to make my heart feel free ---
to bless someone else
on the path that You are taking me.


(This is a poem I wrote six years ago to get myself through the day and remind myself of 
who I really was and Who I belonged to.)
