My Cyber Family
To my cyber family
when I am feeling alone
and no one to call on my phone
I pop open my lap top
because I know there
someone always waiting for me,
I do declare.
To my cyber family
some days you touch my heart
other days some of your statements
about politics , or who on twitter
or join me on facebook.
It does not really matter,
because I just know on the other end
there is always someone for
me to chatter.
To my cyber family
to me your like a hallmark card
that I can not wait to open.
it could be on my poetry site
or maybe I will find a song on ytube
that seems to be talking about my life.
To my cyber family
spending time with you
could be better than a mate
I would much prefer to stay
home with you than
going out on boring date.
To my cyber family
I do not know how
but you became my long lost family
even though we are a screen apart.
while I can not smell or touch you,
your all ways there for me
when I am happy or feel blue.
To my cyber family
I must go now and click off
the screen .
I had fun today but tomorrow I
will be back
because in some strange way
you make my feel special
when no one else can.
Oh yea I forgot that all in
my cyber family plan.
