My Cousin Matt

The sun it shines upon my face,
Again, as was the day before,
It rose and crept upon my space,
And set as always on my door.

Enclosed I’m not, my spirit thrives,
Enjoying past and future times,
I feel and see all your lives,
I visit through your hearts and minds.

Continue on, I stress to you,
And live your lives as you do please,
Spirits live, you make that true,
Think of me, I’m here at ease.

Truth is knowing all must pass,
And some before the other,
I went first to lead the way,
I’ll wait here, for one and another.

But don’t hurry.
