I think I am so affected by this because it is history in my life time. This and the residential schools; I was still in school when they were finally disbanded, and I did not learn that in school. xomo

Maureen I didn't know about this. I thought of the USA's disgrace of the " Trail of Tears"; also the treating of indigenous AMERICAN people. It is sad that both our countries share this thing.

It has come to represent the nation wide tragedy, our primeminister just admitting to genocide. It is, so sad. xomo
