My Cobra Pet
I have not one regret
That a cobra is my pet
Yes some of the fear still lingers
Since he bit off three of my fingers
And I'm willing to take a bet
He's the nicest cobra you've ever met
You may ask why a poisonous snake
I just love the hisses he makes
Ever since he was quite young
He tickles my nose with his tongue
And I love the excitement it brings
When he swallows live wriggling things
He likes to snuggle you see
Stay calm and he wont bite me
If I dare move he will try
To spit his venom in my eye
And pray I don't have to pee
For he sleeps right between my knees
