My City, Happy City

My City
Tall buildings
Shiny lights
Filled with people
Endless sights

Children laughing and playing
joys to no end
countless games with
endless friends

A store on every corner
to fill sweet tooth's craving
Beauty Shops, Barber Shops
hair styles alive and men shaving

Fun all the time
Smiles as wide as the sky
Each new day brings new fine
Bigger and better as time goes by

MY CITY, HAPPY CITY

I am an adult now
opportunities all around
Endless possibilities
so much joy to be found

Always a way, never a day
that I wonder what to do
Always a way, never a day
that I don't see a new door to go through

Happy City
Tall buildings
Shiny lights
Filled with people
Endless sights.
