My Childhood Prayer Still Said
It must be said
Before the sun rises
It may be said on your
knees before bed
But it must be said.!
It must be short and sweet
Quick to reach... God's ears. !
A poem or a prayer a metaphors or a prose.
Quick to listen
Easy to speak.
Thought's from hearts...
God's ears to reach. ....
"If I should should die before
I wake.
" I Pray the Lord my soul to take"
" Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to Keep.!
This poem was a prayer and this prayer was a poem.
