My Child Of Light Poem

You are a Child of light, my love.
born in shadow, but you became the sun.
Levitated like an immortal, from the captivated grounds
grew as a rose in the concrete cracks of the bloody cold streets

You are a Child of Light, my angel
torn from the roots that were interwined in your veins
The devil played its riddles, but your wit was too strong to be fooled.

But after facing the darkness, you remained a child of light.
