My Cats

Ears twitching
After a long retiring sleep
Their eyes on tender hook

for one moment they are wild
The next moment tender
with a loving look

When illness falls my way
Their heart rallies to my side
Like medication on tap

They stay with me
Long into the night
A reassuring paw on my lap

Otherwise like little kids
Whose loyalty goes so far
But want to get out and play

My beautiful Coco and Kiki
There for me through the tough times
But always my secure night and day

You know, I find the cats I've 'owned' have been quite loyal too. ~ Me-ow
